Country Road is a major supplier of gift vouchers to the corporate market. Every year Country Road handles many calls from major companies and reward programs requesting to purchase vouchers. Prior to the introduction of voucher power Country Road had to manually process these requests writing out each voucher. Large orders involved a considerable time spent by marketing and support teams to prepare and post each order as well track deliveries etc.
Country Road implemented a card based system run by E Com. E Com's system allows clients to self order vouchers as needed and fulfillment is automated. Country Road never have to touch the vouchers or chase payment. E Com electronically debits funds from customers, makes payments to stores, processes commissions and tracks each order live. Vouchers can be cancelled at any point removing security risks. The client doesn't have to arrange transport or worry about secure storage of voucher inventory. Both Country Road and clients have live reporting so that the status of the program and financial liabilities can be managed.
